Comment:
Dr. Feldmeth is very good hearted and can be great in many areas. If you email him with a question he will get back to you. However, for a MA professor I was very unimpressed with his knowledge. He taught sever exegetical fallacies and was a little outdated. Overall, good guy though.

Wonderful class about C.S. Lewis! He allows you to swap out books if you would prefer. The reading is more for our benefit than for the class, but you will complete a journal. Fantastic Prof!

One of the best lecturers and toughest graders I've taken. Lectures were engaging and left my mind reeling the rest of the week. The Pocket Dictionary of Church History, which he authored, is EXTREMELY useful as a study tool. Tests are take home and very difficult. As a typically straight-A student, I've never worked so hard for a B+.

IMHO the best history professor at Fuller (there aren't tons of them anyway), and I've taken several of them. Very clear voice and tells a lot of interesting anecdotes/side stories about the various historical characters. Tests are challenging but his prep sheets and review sessions prepare you much better than other profs.

Nate Feldmeth teaches history like an enfolding story, making it interesting every lecture. He has a good sense of humor that keeps you engaged, and really cares about the history and how it affects the church today. I took all my history classes with him, and still remember a lot of the info. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed Nate's class and developed a real appreciation for the Early Church teachings and attempts to understand Christ in the first years. This has become important to me in developing an ecclesiological apprecation for the Catholic Church, the Jewish Church and, yes, our Protestant traditions.

His background is in teaching high school, meaning that he's kind, pastoral, good for newbies -- don't take this prof if you've got a background in church history. You'll be bored out of your mind.

Feldmeth is one of the best professors I have ever had. He has given me a love for church history that I never had before. I am even considering doing my Ph.D. dissertation in a field of church history because of his teaching.

He is the most clear professor I've ever had. He's especially good if you don't know a lot of church history. Very interesting lectures. However, he said we could turn in drafts for corrections & he never got mine back to me. Still very nice/approachable.
