He really is one of the better Intro professors. The simulation is a lot of work and worth a lot of points so make sure you get a good group. He is a spelling and grammar phonetic. If you follow the handouts exactly you will do well. Don't procrastinate. Memorize the terms and an example for the exams.

This class is tough. The business simulation can either make you or break you, and he doesn't really give you any direction in it. It's more take guesses and cross your fingers. Lots of group work, so make sure you have a good one. The tests are tough as well. 11 quizzes over reading articles. A few homework assignments and 3 exams.

Quizzes are easy if you read article (always about 7 pages). Simulation is time consuming, picking a great group is crucial. Tests are VERY HARD. Basically need to memorize the book in order to make a good grade. He tests over everything in the book. Also, VERY picky with grammar. Deducted 6 points even after taking it to the writing center twice.

Very interesting (and useful) class for business; his tests are very specific and somewhat difficult, but the quizzes are easy grade boosters if you read the articles. BE CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR GRAMMAR IN WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS THOUGH. All-in-all, I would recommend taking him for foundations.

Nice guy! Homework is easy! He is very nitpicky abt grammar/spelling. Quizzes are easy as long as you read the articles. They are usually about 10 pgs. Exams (4 of them) are HARD. Study the book in detail. Simulation isn't terribly bad, but its not easy either.

very bad. has has a lot experience in business, but seriously, he is not suitable for teaching. he can't even answer student's question - "i can't answer that question right now." WHF! it's really hard to get an A in his class. i don't recommend his class, take another foundation

Very smart man but a very bad teacher. Nit picks and plays favorites and is unable to ever explain himself. Quizzes are easy and over readings, textbook is necessary, I would advise taking another teacher.

Hard, so hard... I wonder why he made me feel it wouldn't be easy to get an A. Seriously I didn't think my points were deducted this easily. Be extra careful of grammar and spelling mistakes, they'll kill you! Simulation is not bad but boring enough to make a presentation about it. Why was everyone so obsessed with it (Simulation)?

I love Mr. Nuss! Make sure you read the book (both BUSN and the simulation book) and you'll breeze by. THe Simulation isn't bad at all if you have a good group - so chose wisely. Content isn't hard because most of it you learn in previous business classes. He designed the course so definitely take him for Foundations.

eh. Not a bad class. Business basics taught from a book. If you are junior level or higher class is a breeze because chapters involve finance, acct, marketing etc. ONLY hard thing is the simulation. It takes a lot of time and the presentation is lame. Nuss loves IBM also.

Really? This class is really not bad at all. There are a bunch of quizzes that are on the schedule that are GRADE BOOSTERS. The simulation/project can seem like a lot and I consider that the only drawback. Book use isn't too excessive, but if you print out the vocab flash cards online you will ace the tests.

disagree with them.take him,interesting class you learn alot of business basics that YOU WILL USE LATER IN LIFE.if you read the articles the quizes are easy. tests arent bad.thgroup project is kind of cool.the only thing i didnt like was that he takes alot off for mispelling i almost got half off on a 25 point HW.spellings Import but not that much.

This professor will do everything in his power to keep you from getting an A!! He hates students that do well apparently. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TAKE SOMEONE ELSE. His grading is ridiculous and there is pretty much no room for error. Very nit-picky man. Hated this class.
