Great professor. He has many connections in the area. For my research project he put me in contact with the living history museaum and the cooperstown library. He was very encouraging. I believe my positive experience was a result of my interest in learning and advancing my skills.

I don't get how people on here say he ISN'T mean, or IS the best comp teacher. 20 page papers for an INTRO course? I wasn't an English major, and all the other teachers only assign 6 pages MAX. He can't relate to kids, is rude to them, insults them, the works. DO NOT TAKE WITH HIM!

I love this teacher. He is the best. He is always willing to help and and he is a nice guy. The class is easy and the homework is much easier. i would deffinally take COMP 100 with him.

If you mixed Mr. Waternoose from Monsters Inc. and Jabba the Hutt from Star wars and gave him a mocking sense of humor and zero respect for his students you would have this guy. He makes fun of students when they mess up and talks about his own life 90% of the time in class. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM!

did NOT like this guy. he embarrassed students when they were wrong or weren't sure about something or forgot something. very strict with lateness and absence. doesn't respect students at all. played favorites in my class. do NOT take him for comp100. take mcmanus instead if she's still teaching it!

I loved this professor. He was so nice. I don't see why people are saying he was mean. He was not mean and the class was not hard. It's a lot of writing but it's composition..what do you expect? He's a really nice guy and i recommend him to everyone.

Prior to taking this class, I was the worlds worst writer, having reading and english tutors since the second grade, and still mostly receiving Cs in English classes. I am now writing A papers! I really can't stand this guy.. I feel like I'm in trouble when he walks in the room. he thinks he's better than his students hence why he talks about his life for the whole class.. we never had a lesson for more than 5 minutes even though the class was over an hour.

I hated this professor. I understand this is a comp class and writing will be involved but I think we spent two days on actual grammer.. I felt it was more like story time, I know more about that mans life than I ever wanted to. He has no respect for his students.

I dont like him When I go to class I get nervous like Im doing somthing wrong. When I went to him for help on a paper he went over it with me, and when I handed it in I got an A but he left a comment saying "isnt it nice I proof read this for you, next time do it on your own". It's his job to help. The class wasnt bad, it was just him that sucked!

worst professor ive had. His class is the so boring, all he does is give you the assignment and then talks about his life for 45 minutes. You know more about his whole life than you do about grammer by the end of the semester. I would not recommend taking his class.

i dont think ive ever dreaded coing to a class more than this guys class. i went into his office hours to have him look over an essay ahead of time, he corrected it and told me to turn it back in, i made HIS corrections and got a C- on it. he somehow mangages to relate EVERYTHING to something great he's done in his lifetime. i hated this class.
