Comment:

I took Intro to Philosophy. Was it fun? No. Was it interesting? No. BUT as long as you participate in the discussions, you will pass the class. He lays out how he wants his discussions and grades fairly based on that. Its an easy A if you do the discussions right. There was no other work than discussions. Good choice for terrible class.

This has to be the laziest professor I've ever had. The videos he posted rarely correlated to the weekly material, very slow to grade or respond, and at the end of the semester I'm still waiting for a course schedule. Pretty sure he planned and organised his class in five minutes, there is no guidance or teaching involved.

I took an 8 week philosophy class with him, and the class in itself is just terrible, Richard not so much. I don't see him as a terrible teacher but he isn't phenomenal either. Most of the discussion questions are just hard to answer, he doesn't give you any clue to the answer her is looking for.

Comparitive Religions. Very interesting teacher. Really enjoyed BOTH his classes. Does not give exams ONLY weekly homework which is a breeze to do. Finished both classes with an A+. Highly recommend and his wife, Lynn, is also a hoot! Finished BOTH his classes with a deeper understanding of the subjects.

Three words, Easy, very easy. Great teacher, I actually learned alot. To much homework, lots of quizes to do on the net. But, he makes it where eveyone in the class get an A if you do all of the quiz's and homeowrk. He said out of 26 stu. 24 A's!
