Comment:

She's a kind lady and cares about her students. Her lectures are sometimes long and a bit boring, but Zoom affected that more than just her teaching style. We only had two essays and a take-home final. Just be sure to read the material and participate in class and you should be fine.

Comment:

Gives a lot of reading and writing. That said, do the homework you will get an A, no exceptions. It seems like the work doesn't even need to be good, just do it you get an A. Has a final project, but it is not hard, I wouldn't take again only cause of how annoying it is to have to write a 2 page paper for ever class. Was also uninterested in work.

Kiceluk doesnt do a great job at making a boring class interesting. She takes forever to grade a papers and hands out pop quizzes at will. Grades are hard even though the final is take home.

You can tell Professor Kiceluk knows what she is talking about, and has studied the texts she teaches vigorously. If you don't participate she will talk through the entire class though.

She's a sweet lady and clearly knows what she's talking about, but she really doesn't teach it very well. Her tests are pretty specific for such a vague class, so study up!

Lectures were just a rehashing of the reading without any insight besides when she would read risque passages, cackle, and sigh. Groups presented a chapter of art history from our book and she would interrupt the presentations constantly so they took 75 mins. She also gave many people Bs on papers without much explanation as to why.

Nice, passionate lady but the class is no good. Halfway through I stopped showing up because the lectures are not engaging and generally unhelpful - most of the class time is spent discussing and is often led by a handful of questionably qualified students. Do study for her finals though, the terms are surprisingly specific for such a vague class.

She is very passionate about what she does and means well but goes on long lectures for what seems like forever. Never allows any discussion to happen, no one really seems to pay attention in her class since her lecture style is very boring and heavily based on doing the readings. Nice lady but wouldn't take her again...

She is scattered and doesn't allow for much discussion during class. Mostly rambles on about whatever she finds interesting at the moment and doesn't ask for the class's opinion and glosses over raised hands. Had her for CF1 and she spent almost the whole time on Greek literature. She's a nice person and means well but I wouldn't recommend.

Professor Kiceluk is a very sweet woman who is extremely passionate about what she teaches. If you actually read, participate in class, and share her enthusiasm (or at least try to), you will be fine. Make sure to get the books she requires! She notices if you don't have them and gets sad.

Stephanie is a really nice, sweet woman, however her classes aren't that great. I had her for CF 1 and 2. Half of the semesters are presentations made by the students so she just doesn't have to teach. Her papers are super long and detailed and she's kind of a harsh grader. Really sweet woman though. I wouldn't recommend her but she's not the worst

easy class for sure. I never payed attention in class, spark notes the books before the midterm, and I was fine. She doesnt take attendance, and really the only grades are midterm, final, 2 essays, and an easy powerpoint project. Simple class, but you wont learn anything.
