I did not need this class, but took it because of the respect I developed for Tony during pols101. You will learn if you put effort into the class, and it is difficult to not be inspired by Tony.

Comment:

Tony is a wonderful professor whose passion is contagious. He does not let his political beliefs change how he grades as PolySci professors in other colleges do. I earned the highest grades in his class despite being vocal at disagreeing with him. He encourages intelligent debate and is a true inspiration for his students.

amer. natl. gov. has alot of information to take in. tony is a cool teacher who tells a story about almost everything though he doesn't always answer my question to the full extent. Though i am glad to be in his last class and would've taken more of his classes if it were an option.

Tony Stewart holds a monopoly on the polysci classes here at NIC, so if you want to take one you're going to be stuck with him. A large part of Stewart's class is made up of him telling stories of his noble experiences, all the while as he is making out how humble he is. Tony is not very supportive of many students, and judges extremely quickly.

I could not stand this class or the teacher. I transfered to Boise State and took my Political Science classes from a teacher who knows what he is talking about and it willing to teach! The class was just him talking and a role playing project that I learned nothing from. I would not advise taking any of the PoliSci classes at NIC!

Tough class with your grade coming from 3 tests and a role playing project at the end. All he does in class is lecture and reading the book is all on you. The tests are not easy and come mainly from his lectures.

He has let his passion for civil rights blind him to the fact that whenever government expands liberty contracts. It soon becomes evident throughout his class that he simply has no respect for federalism as the founders created(states
