Really incredible teacher and cares about her students with all of her heart. Weekly readings, 3 analyzation papers (you even get to pick the weeks) and a final research project. Prof Wing is really well known in the ADR world and inspiring!

Comment:

Leah was one of the best professors I have had at UMass. I took this class to fulfill an IT Minor requirement. This class was absolutely amazing. Leah is very respected in the Alternative Dispute Resolution world. No exams, a few short papers, and a research paper were the only assignments. She also lets you correct your papers. Recommend 10/10

One of the best professors I've ever had. I'm not a legal studies major so some concepts were difficult for me, but Leah is constantly offering help and amazing feedback. Redo anything til you get an A. I've never met a professor who cared so much about her students. Wish I could keep taking her classes! HIGHLY recommend, shes the best!!

In my experience, Leah Wing is the best professor at UMass (Vinnie Ferraro excluded because he's Mt. Holyoke). Her intelligence is surpassed only by her passion at an academic level and at a personal level, you will never meet a more genuinely caring person. I've take 3 classes with her and would take quantum physics if she was the professor.

I've never written a review on here before, but have always used the site. Leah is and will always be an important part of my academic career. I've never been more impressed by a professor's intellect and teaching ability at the same time, not to mention her amazing feedback: She knows how to motivate. If you don't invest yourself, that's your loss

hands down one of the the best professors/courses at umass. leah is extremely passionate about teaching and is always willing to help. extremely easy course...unless you don't do a paper or don't show up to class you're basically guaranteed an A! :)

Professor Wing is one of the best professors at UMASS in the Legal Studies Dept. Her classes are interesting and will always keep your attention. The concepts are clear and the readings are interesting. She is determined that each student succees. If you ever need help she is more than will to provdie it. Take any of her classes!

Relatively easy class aside from the amount of reading, which you can't get away with not doing. Don't take a class if you're actually interested in learning something. Each class is basically, a hippie pow pow about how we "feel". Give me a break. I bet all yo u zombie mass kids will eat it all up, though.

Such a good class to take. 2 essays and a final project. easy to get an A. she gives out extensions on the papers for little to no excuse...both mY papers were 2 weeks late and got A's on both of them...try to participate in class, she really loves it

Very nice and understanding. Very little homework, but some a few 10 page papers thrown in. I used to love when she would encourage the class to get into a debate and then get all upset when it got out of hand and people started yelling at each other :)

One of the best teachers in the US. Her classes are facinating without having an overwhelming workload. She is always willing to extend deadlines and help students-but be honest with her and give advance warning. If you're at UMass, make sure you get the oppertunity to study with her.
