I did my master's degree thesis under supervision of Prof. Gulliver. Hands down, I can say he is one of the best advisors you could ever wish for in your graduate studies. He does not tie your hand to a specific area, or makes your life a living hell if you have not had a result in your work yet. Be proactive and he backs you up and there to help.

By far the best prof in the department. Excellent lecturer, guides students through the material and has deep knowledge of background, history and real-world applications of what he teaches. Very helpful in office hours and an all-around great guy.
