Professor Hartmann is a great teacher, he was so helpful and taught me how to better my writing. Most teachers don't do that, they just give you a rubric that tells you where you didn't do your best. I learned more from him than any other teacher and he taught me how to analyze books and really understand the meaning behind them. Take his class!

I'm glad I got him for my first English class. He expects you to show up to class and participate. He's not too concerned with format, as much as content. He teaches you how to write in the real world and treats you as an adult. Always willing to give feedback. Very laid back. If you miss class, he won't give you notes, but will tell you what's due

I loved Mr.Hartmann's style of teaching english. He actually made things fun to learn. I'd say the best thing I learned from him is that a pronoun isn't just a noun that get's paid! Thanks Adam Hartmann!

Professor was very knowledgable and made learning a lot easier than most. Enjoyed his teaching. However, he brought too much personal info to the class. It was OK a couple of times but after the fifth time, it got a little excessive.
