Took her for Feminist poetry - one of the most intelligent, thoughtful, thought-provoking teachers I've ever had. Learned a lot. She is very accessible and willing to help. Would recommend her!

Real nice lady, a little opinionated. She'll let you defend your view but you can tell she has hers and will stick to it. Pop quizzes were rough even when you read. If you take a writing emphasis, she'll definetely emphasis it. Final was long but not hard. Fair professor, boring though. Views of literacy were the worst books ever though!

I took her twice. She's beyond great. The classes were fun and interesting. She is such a sweet person; her caring comes across a hundred fold. I am proud to have known her during my time at WCU. PS- Her opinions are not highlighted- she is pretty neutral

I heart Dr. Herzog. She really makes the class interesting with films and guest speakers. I really loved how sensitive and caring she is with her students. Its a very personal class but you get out so much more then u put it...i would take her again!
