I loved her!!! She is not an easy professor but she sure does know how to teach. She rips apart your papers but gives you second chances. By the end of the course I was pro at paper writing. She is so cute and can be quite humorous.. and has an awesome accent. One thing I didn't like it that she does make you answer questions and picks on you...kee

This class was horrible, she kept trying to get us to talk, and we just did not want to. I mean come on, we are adults now, if we don't want to talk, you aren't going to make us. She picks her favorites from the beginning and sticks with them. oh and by the way, if she finds out you are a science student, she WILL not like you.

Completely unclear about instructions. Rips papers apart in front of the whole class. Accuses students of plagiarism based on what she thinks your writing ability is. You can actually see her eyes light up if you pronounce a word incorrectly and she gets to correct you. Forces in class participation. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!

Afra be quite nice and has a passion for what she teaches. She will tear your first paper apart but will give youa chance to re-write them. If you do well on your first paper she suspects you of plagiarism. Overall a good professor although she tends to demand you to inform her as to why you didn't make it to her class. Deadlines are very leniant.

UNPROFESSIONAL! First: I loved this class. She is smart and engaging BUT, I saw her do and say many things that were unprofessional and completely out of line. She picks favorites and does not respect her students. Her behaviour astounded and deeply disappointed me. I will never take another class from her again.

i loved afra. she was encouraging and helpful towards me, and i felt like she was on my side. my papers were late a lot of the time but she went easy on me..always ready to talk after class and was genuinely concerned with my doing well in the course.
