Calliste is a knowledgable and experienced person. She is not, however, able to communicate as a professor at the university level, and it's not because she has a "foreign" accent. If you want to learn something, avoid this class. Her bad days outnumber the good, and I left the class each day infuriated at her for teaching equity but not practicing

I thoguht this would be a great course... WRONG! She teaches on racism, yet she HATES white ppl!!! She was not helpful AT ALL when students asked questions, and she has not posted our marks yet and they were due two days ago. HORRIBLE prof. who should not be at St.FX! She favours athletes and people who are not white, waaaaay too much! DONT TAKE HE

I thought her class was great and interesting. There was a ton of class discussions and she was very willing to give extensions and help you out in any way she could. As for the %!@hole that posted earlier and said she couldn't speak and shouldn't teach....she was in a debilitating accident...I think she has courage to be in front of a class.
