Laid back and wacky sense of humour. quizes midterm and final were all easy, he doesnt do the greatest job of teaching and its sometimes painful to sit through a lecture but hes better than most.

I had to go to Calculus Connections (supplement math course) twice a week just to be able to pass that class, and he offers no office hours. Even after I did well on some of the quizzes, I would go back to the notes, and they still wouldn't be comprehensible.

This prof is way too smart to teach an intro to calc class. It seems like he finds it difficult to lower his mind to the 249 level which makes him not all that great at teaching. However, he is really friendly and funny, I would assume he would be much better at teaching higher level courses.

If you're as laid-back and mellow as he is, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better professor. Uncommonly friendly. Moreover, managed to learn a great deal (partly due to the layered-togetherness of assignments and tests).
