Hist 356&451. I was a total Hist buff. She made me dread Hist. One of the worst teachers ever.Her marking is not reflective of work, but where she thinks you fit in. In Hist401, you teach, not her. Both classes, your first assignment will be what your overall grade is, hard to move, even if you kick butt on others. Difficult to improve.

Despite what others say, she does grade hard. Although that in itself sucks, she knows her stuff and you will learn a lot. I have taken two classes with her, and she's probably one of my favorite teachers.

Good class if sometimes disogranized, Espiritu seemed to alawys be attempting to catch up to keep up with a daunting course layout. There are alot of readings, but If you skim through them in accoradnace to what she lays out on the midterms or final you will do fine. Oh yes the final is a ridiculous amount of work, akin to a paper.

This is one of the worst classes I have ever taken! Espiritu cannot teach! The readings are way too time consuming and very uninteresting. The course had potential to be very interesting. She reads her notes, is not clear on grading, and is unorganized.

Was the boringest class I ever took. She reads her lectures fast, and yes she reads them. She gives random grades on papers and seems to like the males better as they all got better grades than females in the course. If you can do not take her courses.
