Hes very sweet and easy going. Really easy class, only two midterms and a final exam and its all multiple choice. The final is cumulative so its a LOT of information to study but even then this class doesnt take much effort and its easy to pass.

Super nice guy and a fair grader. His lectures are a little dry but you dont need to attend to get a good grade.

Probably my favourite class I have taken so far. It's nice to come to class and have a prof. that has a good sense of humour and is down to earth. He has an amusing obsession with cemeteries. Some of the lectures could be a bit dull but that's expected of most classes. Pretty easy to get an A if you put in the effort.

Alan is hilarious in that dry, British sort of way. His lectures and slides are interesting and fun. I didn't use the textbook that much. There is only the midterm and final so you should really prepare for them. Make note of the PLACES he talks about in class because there are map questions on the exams.

I enjoyed Alan's class. While the topics could be dull at times, he would crack jokes and try to make it interesting. The grading scheme only consisted of a midterm and final, which I liked. I wouldn't say the class is an "easy A" but if you put the work in, you can get a decent grade.

Alan Nash is a fine professor. He is very knowledgeable, funny and we also got a free bag of chips during a class. This semester was only one midterm/one final, so if it stays the same, get ready to cover a lot of material. It is easy, but you have to study at least 10-12 topics per test. Easy class if you're dedicated.

The class in general is easy. Lectures are a bit boring, the teacher speaks slowly but jokes time to time. Read the book for the exams but just selected material that he will tell you. The final is not accumulative. The only thing the timing is super tight during the midterm and final. Midterm: 75 mc/10 map question, 1h and final: 80 mc /10 map 2h

I found it very hard to stay focused in his lectures because they were so boring and he often jumps around when presenting information. His tests are extremely lecture/ powerpoint based so definitely don't make the mistake of skipping class. If you take really detailed notes you should be fine for the tests.

Super funny and makes the lectures zoom by. Only problem is that his tests are literally impossible, after not doing too hot on the first exam i asked him what to study and i did everything he said and still barely passed it. So great guy but tests are going to destroy you unless im just stupid

He is quite funny and has good stories to tell. My only issue with this class was that all the exams were Multiple Choice exams which means there's a lot of memorizing. I wasn't particularly interested in the class and just needed an elective and this prof was the right call. Study the material and all will be well. More of an easy B than easy A.

Hes super funny and is a very happy-go-lucky kinda person. He always make sure the class fun and light, and uses anecdotes to make you understand the content better. Remember to take notes and focus on his slides more than the book. His tests are easy, as long as you do your readings and know geographical locations of countries. Have fun!

Jolly English man. Gives 3 random attendance grades, so it's a gamble if you skip class. Lectures can drag but he tries to keep them interesting. I enjoyed his sense of humor. Can be hard to know what to study, but he reviews all the material and the multiple choices rarely have more than 2 answers that make any sense.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does give little activities to check if you are there every once in awhile which counts as 10% of your grade. I expected it to be an easy class, but I felt like his tests asked trivial questions, such as, "Where is the pineapple from?" Kinda disappointing, but he is nice and approachable.

You need an easy elective? Take this course with Nash. He's a wonderful prof, but I did find the course lacking for a university level class... You do your readings, memorize, and memorize his powerpoint, and BOOM, easy A. Network accordingly and maybe you can find old tests to help you study. This class didn't challenge me at all...
