Just awful! All the handouts/tests are in typewriter font. One question of our test required using alternate formulas THAT WE WERE NEVER SHOWN IN CLASS. No notes at all besides examples, so jot down what hes talking about and he goes off on tangents. Only good thing is for final mark you get the mark of your exam if its higher than overall

Sherrick is AWFUL. Teaches you one thing and then tests you on something different. Gives you backwards questions that take a lot of time to try and figure out. I did poorly on a midterm and went to him to get help, and he told me the whole time how people got 90's and 100's and how easy a question was that I got wrong. Awful prof.

My biggest complaint is the way he tests the subject. Although it is open book, most of his questions are just trick questions in which you have to manipulate different equations. so whether or not you know the material it is equally challenging. It ended up making the course a lot more difficult then it needed to be

Sherrick makes this course more complicated and difficult than it has to be.if you go to him for help he will give it to some degree but all test questions are basically tricks asking for the students to be able to perform equations backwards, sideways, upsidedown, any which way other than the actual way psych data is produced and should be taught.

Dr. Sherrick is one of the best prof's you will ever have. He's clever, entertaining and truly loves teaching. Make the most of his class if you are seriously considering a future in psych, because this course prepares you for honours stats and experimental psychology in general. Highly recommend, not that it matters as his class is mandatory :D.

Great Prof.! A little odd at first but super nice! Tests are a little hard but he does allow open book. Has a tendency to ask questions backwards (work from sol'n to find x). Keep all your notes very organized and go to class!!

Has a completely different way of teaching that you have to get used to before you can like him. He still uses overhead projectors, and his midterms and final are open-book, (& difficult). However, he loves being sought out for help, and gives great hints in class. His sarcasm becomes less rude and more funny as the term goes on.

Dr. Sherrick may seem a little strange at first and sometimes his sarcastic humor can be a little dry but if you see past all that you will realize he is an amazing professor. He answers e-mails almost immediately after you send them. He is extremely helpful and wants you to do well. You MUST attend class, he doesn't put up notes. Great Man!

Dr. Sherrick is a great teacher. He really knows what he's talking about and although he may come off as a little strange at times, he really does want you to do well in his class. If you put in the effort, he will help you in any way that he can. He doesn't put his notes online so you have to attend all of his classes to really get a good mark.

He will tell you if you score higher on the final than your overall grade, that will be your mark. don't count on this, because the final is like stats on steroids. Great prof though, you actually laugh at his jokes and not uncomfortably chuckle. And of course he knows his stuff but what's more important is he knows how to teach it.

He's a good prof, and when you're actually paying attention to his class, you can learn a lot. He does help create some skepticism within the students as well, but the course alone aids in that. My only real criticism is that he really needs to start using Powerpoint, OR, making his writing on the board bigger. You can't see great most of the time.
