He knows what he is teaching. He is a fair grader. His tests can be a little hard but not impossible. It is very possible to get an A in his class. It helps if you attend his lectures because sometimes the readings are hard to understand and some of his test questions are from the lectures. He is definitively a good professor.

He is a nice man and the material is interesting, however it all depends on the T.A you get. I had a T.A. that graded harshly on everything so I was out of luck. I won't mention HER name but she sucked.

This class is very easy IF you do all the readings. Pay attention in class because it really helps when it comes to the exam. Personally I'm quite lazy so I never read. I still managed a B-. The exams are very straight forward. There is a term paper at the end of the semester and I highly recommend not leaving it for the last minute.

I took him for HUM 110 as well as PHIL 101 and got an A- and A. His tests are pretty easy as long as you study. He also gives a study lecture the night before the exams which were very helpful! I loved having him as a prof and would recommend! He is great! =]

The class was very challenging, but equally rewarding. I got nothing but good, thorough feedback from the prof which is so hard to find. I'd recommend him to anyone, willing you're in for a class where the work is hard, but you'll definitely be given food for thought.

He was amazing.old but a hotti. I am a total slacker. and i got a B-, i did some of the readings, if you want an A read them all. You take this class with him in lecture, then once a week (small class)with a TA. If you have the class with Hausman youll get an A for sure. Zucker (mine) cool guy but HARD GREATER. so unfair. Id say take him though :]

Hausman is a very sweet man, willing to help his students and answer their questions. The material is pretty difficult and you must do the readings to pass, otherwise your screwed. He is'nt always clear in his lectures. The TAs are extremely helpful, shoutout to Tom. Dont take this class if you are not willing to work hard!!

he was a great professor, the material was really difficult but in all fairness he does warn you on the first day of class. its interesting material, but he reads straight from his notes, making its a little boring at times. If you really want to pass he is willing to help you and explain the material to you. really nice man

There are 2 days of lecture, one of group discussions. Hausman does the lectures, he uses a lot of examples and makes it interesting, although he does tend to get into discussions with students and not complete everything he was supposed to. overall, i recommend him

Can be funny at times. Tests consist of multiple choice and short answers. Don't really have to read any textbook. Just a couple articles and lecture notes. Passed this class with a B without reading anything. You have to do like 2 or 3 papers but they are all mad easy. So no sweat. TA's are helpful in discussion sections! So yea.

He's a good professor. Extra shout out to TA, Greg Zucker.

Best professor I have had at Hunter so far. Anyone who thinks his papers and tests are hard don't belong in college. Everything is clear. A lot of reading but you don't need to do all of it to do well. Discussions were very interesting. Loved going to class. This class will make you think. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

More than half of the students from my class DROPPED his class! Personally, I do not recommend you to take his course. Three exams, three hard papers, and two on-line tests. Attendance is mandatory.

Wonderful professor. Enjoy his classes very much. He is a very mysterious character, you could see that he's always thinking of something, as is expected of philosophers. Makes funny remarks during class. Overall, best professor I have had. Thanks to him, I am considering a philosophy major!)

Great professor. Very kind and helpful, even funny and sarcastic at times. He makes cute jokes in his teaching but overall a nice person. Gets the point across and if you stick with the reading he tells you to do and pay attention in class you should be fine throughout the course.
