Bond does not accommodate students needs. He does not give a make up midtern, no matter what your excuse is, and did not even care when I told him that I had three finals on the same day. He does not even curve. Take if you want a course to pass/fail,do not like geology, and do not care about doing well.

His tests are a bit difficult, but they're all multiple choice questions. Can get away with not doing the reading, but you really have to pay attention in the class. His lectures can get a bit boring sometimes, but he keeps things lively to the best of his abilities despite some of the subject matter being dull. Fantastic professor, really nice.

This is an upper core class, called "Making Of The Atom Bomb". If you have no interest in physics, or this subject, he will make it interesting, he's a good guy. I love this subject therefore I took it. He is a very strict Professor. The exams are not easy, but he will teach you the history of the A bomb. Wrote a 25 page page paper on the H Bomb.

Nice guy if you do your work and show work. Tells jokes that are not bad. Work requires studying but overall can be done. Passing is more than likely he is a good professor who knows his stuff and gives a good story.

I took this class back in the spring of 1997, having him for lab was awesome, but for the lectures oh boy! that was torture, total boredom! but take good notes and ask questions

Making of the Atom Bomb was a hard upper tier core to take. Had and still have no interest in physics or the Manhattan Project, and although the professor seems nice and told jokes a bit, the class was pretty dull. You can tell he's a good professor who knows his stuff. MUST pay attention in class And do the reading, the tests were pretty hard.

It's Physics, so it's going to be hard but he makes it a bit better. Very laid back, tests are multiple choice, only a few hw assignments, and all you need to do is show up to lab.

Funny guy, but a few might find him a bit offensive at first. Do NOT be late, do NOT miss lab. Exams are straight forward, but if you make one mistake like putting a decimal point in the wrong place, which then carries forward to following questions, he'll grade the whole lot as incorrect, even if the numbers are right. Very entertaining guy tho.

A MUST TAKE for core physics, especially if you are not mathematically or sci inclined. He explains the history behind the concepts, which makes them clear. Very good & fair grader w/tests. If you have trouble, you must talk to him. 100% of the material is based on the class, so you MUST attend in order to get an A or do well. Very enjoyable!

Heres the deal for this class... he teaches 95% what you need to know for the exams. interesting stuff if you like physics and atomic bomb history. YOU MUST ATTEND EVERY SINGLE CLASS OR YOU WILL MISS VITAL INFO AND BE LOST FOREVER. SIT UP FRONT, PAY ATTENTION, ASK QUESTIONS AND YOU'LL DO FINE. NOT THE EASIEST MATERIAL

Comment:
Bond is strict about being late - so come on time unless you want him to make a nasty comment in front of the whole class. Also, for some CRAZY reason, he doesn't let you write on the exam itself - something that he should abolish because it leads to many careless mistakes in multiple choice tests. All his tests are multiple choice. Labs are a MUST

He ok professor but don't write much on the board. The key in his class is bring a tape recorder to help you on his exam.

HE is a nice professor with lots of sense of humor which at times can get annoying. Its hard to follow what he talks about during his lectures because he is often confusing. The tests are pretty easy especially FInal. Some Labs are very frustrating, lots of graphs and thinking. HE isnt the GREATEST professor but he is GOOD. Buy the book............

class goes by relatively fast, decent teacher, but very easy. no homework at all, all labs are done during lab, nothing to take home, tests are easy, final extremely easy, only slightly cumulative, easy A with minimal effort

Hes a really nice guy, reminds me of a cross between santa and colonel sanders from KFC. Ppl make it like he's the easiest teacher ever, he's not. You need to go to class, pay attention, take notes. The book is simple as hell and helps when studying, but notes are ver important. Weekly labs are fun but annoyin to go to. Be dilligent and youll be ok

This guy definately made the class for me. I am by far NOT a science person and he made me want to come everyday. Very nice guy, who pretty much bases his lectures on making jokes every 5 minutes to keep you awake cuz who could stay awake listening about physics for an hour+. Only 2 tests and a final...tests are short but make you think a little

I told the professor that my father had had a heart attack two days before the midterm and was unable to take it. He required a doctor's note and still did not allow me to take the exam, and gave me a grade of 0.
