I took this class two years ago. 30 excel hw. He taught a lot in each class. I hated him. I was a teller in a bank. Now I am in management and I am using lots of the stuff he taught and he taught well. I now appreciate all the work he assigned. He teaches you how to think thru a problem and solve it.

I took this class as an online class during the summer. He posted all of the quizzes for the semester as well as assignments the first day so that you had the whole term to do them. They are timed. The assignments were time consuming but i learned a lot. Final was in person but he let you bring a review sheet. He's very funny, Great class!

Great, Entertaining, Understanding, Intellectual and Knowledgeable Professor. His lectures are all pertaining to current events. You will not get bored in his class. Simple structure of 3 exams a few writing assignments. I missed my 2nd exam due to family issue and i spoke to him about it and he let me retake it. Learned a lot.

I never worked harder. Lots of excel. He explains hard things reaaly well. I missed one class and I rejected it. Some of the stuff covered helped in finance. Take him.

Online class. Quizes on BB. One of my peers posted links to the test bank. The at home quizes were easy. The in person final was a bit harder. I put the ebook and the testbank on a tiny flashdrive and put it in the back of my machine. It was hidden by cables. Easy A.

Another student posted this already. The testbank for the book is online. The exams were on blackboard. Even though the prof changed 20 questions, 50 questions came from the testbank. Easy A. He walked around trying to stop the googling, but I still did it. He gave a paper exam and the grades were lower. His lectures are great.

He is subbing for another teacher. He is too sensitive. Students posted the test bank and he got annoyed. His annoyance is too much. He shows lots of current events in the videos. I hope he does not get spoiled because of a few students.

If anything, this class is "exceltastic", and the professor himself is an Excel playboy. Hard work will get your far in this class, but make sure you're ready though.

HE IS GREAT!!!! I took 1st summer session, and my only regret is that I took this class in summer. Professor Thurm is too good for such a short semester, I wish I took a longer semester. You learn not only the subject matter, but life lessons as well! Do not think twice!

I took professor thurm in the 1st summer session he is such a great professor! he gives a clear grading cirteria, you know what you have to do and any questions he is there to help!! i would gladly take this class again because he is great! this was an online class and i did well in it, he is there for every student TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Thurm is an excellent teacher. He knows and explains the material thoroughly. He gives multiple examples. He gives a lot of homework but allows you to use your homework to help with his assessments. He gives you everything you need to do well. Thurm is also very funny and entertaining. I wish I had taken him for more classes.

Very nice professor who actually teaches. I have learn a lot during my summer course. Lots of hw but as long as you stay on top of your work you will be fine. This class helped enhance my excel skills and prepared me for the real world. Hilarious caring intelligent professor is everything is student can ask for! Take his class!

Great professor. He didn't mind answering questions and repeating himself. I would defiantly take him again. He also provided textbook copies on BB which helped us save money.
