Awful! Reads straight from the course pack, no need to come to class. Be prepared to teach yourself the whole course. His tests always have trick questions that weren't in class material and there is never enough time to finish. Avoid taking with this professor!

Very challenging professor. Unclear at times and lectures consist of directly reading from his book (which is $208 for something that is just a packet of printed paper!) You will learn a lot, but you better know your thermodynamics/ thermochemistry, and you better have lots of study time.

Comment:

Awesome professor with years of professional engine development experience that he is happy to share. He has great knowledge of all makes of engines old and new. I did not get an impression of any bias toward GM engines. To his credit, he worked for GM for over 30 years so it is understandable that he may have GM pride, but it wasn't evident to me.
