Dr. Deambrosi made his grading very objective which can be difficult for an English class! He was frequently available outside of class, and was very encouraging. He was always kind and willing to answer questions! I was able to succeed in his class even though English is not my best subject. He knows his subject well! Great teacher!

Alfredo is an excellent teacher who was willing to go the extra mile to ensure all students had the best possible chance at success. His class wasn't easy, but if you put the work in, reached out for help, and applied yourself it was possible to succeed and learn a tremendous amount during the process. I highly recommend him. -

Deambrosi seems nice, but his classes were very boring and dry. Speaks in a monotone and that mixed with just going over grammar rules makes the class hard to sit through. Not too difficult if you are good at English. Thought he explained things well, just didn't try to make it interesting. Also, the GA's grading was vague and unclear and random

Very unclear. Possibly because he's Italian. His voice plus the analogies he uses in class really confuse me. He stresses his words differently than Americans do. I'd prefer the other English teacher for En102.
