Talks way too much,expected a lot from students to experiment but would not provide any demonstration or examples of how to explore new mediums like we were asked. It was always a lot fo talking about other artists for hours....I always left feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and like I haven't accomplished much during my time in the class.

She is a great color theory teacher. Her lecture is inspiring and the class trip to Barns Foundation was wonderful. She is also a fair when it come to critiquing your work and the evaluation. It's a fantastic class. I learn more in her class that any others at Moore College-

Fantastic professor. She is very inspiring and available for later classroom discussion. You would need to work hard since this is Senior studio but it's a wonderful class for your last year at the college.

She is a very inspiring Color teacher at Moore. She explained the class material very clear and the individual critique is very helpful. Her grading system is fair. She also goes over all the materials in the class. She also offers outside help, during the office hours.

She was a very rude professor. I would not recommend taking her class. She is not helpful, I don't feel like i learned anything from her. Anything I learned in this class was from reading the mandatory text. She is a great artist but has not interest in sharing her knowledge. Shows up for a pay check.

The class is the last to two studio course for Fine Arts. Her advise is extremely helpful in navigating the Senior year. The course is well organize and very challenging- You would need to work hard. She takes attendance very seriously and projects on time- A great class and wonderful teacher-

Alice is by far one of my favorite teachers! She is extremely knowledgable, funny and willing to help. She also has (reasonably) high expectations of everyone in her class. Her critiques are very helpful and she pushes her students to problem solve and learn to talk about their work.

The reading were very informative . I also though the projects welded nicely with my studio work. The filed trips were phenomenal Overall I enjoyed the class and having Alice as a instructor. She is a very knowledgeable professor and also a compassionate one

I took painting 1 with Alice Oh. Alice Oh is an instructor who focuses mostly on conceptual development. She wants her students to experiment and develop their own style in their work. However, this class lacks technical applications, and Alice Oh did not push me in class to create stronger work.

She seems intimidating at first, but if you care about what you're doing, and show up for class, you'll be fine. She genuinely cares about our success as artists and spends time letting us explore the artists that interest us. Compared to what I have heard about other drawing professors, she gives us a lot of freedom. That helped me learn a lot.

She is very intimidating at first. She would give us a vague introduction for the day and leave for hours. Once we did get her to loosen up and she laughed! I love her, but I don't feel I got anything out of that class.

i didn't like her at first but looking back, i realized that she helped me a lot. she's a little hard to understand and her stern personality doesn't help either, but after freshman year, you learn that she has a great personality and she's a very intelligent, enjoyable person. not to mention how hot she looks now with her new haircut. she doesn't even look like she just had a baby.

SUCKED. of course i learned but it was hard to listen to her. she is some kind of robot.... NO sense of humor or personality and a very limited vocabulary.... kinda mean. she would say "in terms of" every 5 seconds. not the "artist" type. very mechanical. i think i would try to critique and joke like a normal person and she just didnt understand how to communicate like normal people

Alice seems scarry at first, but shes just strict. if you have seen her art you know that she knows what shes doing. If you talk to her as a person, shes a great woman, just a strict teacher. No slacking here!
