Comment:
She is really into philosophy, passionate about it. If you're into philosophy, you won't have a great deal of difficulty, if you're not, well ask a lot of questions and talk to her about the content of the papers ahead of time. Expect a C on the first paper and then if you put effort into it, things can look up from there.

She was very helpful if you went too class and did the readings. The amount of work was alot at times but wasn't overwhelming. I recommend her to anyone that has a even a bit of an urge to learn the material.

Comment:
This class was WAY above what an intro course should be...she demands a lot and she expects you to understand a lot of difficult subject matters...SHE understands it. The papers were difficult and she expected a lot from them. But she is very nice and cheery...good person, not good class.

She was very unclear on topics for papers. It seemed like no one ever got anything right. Not to helpful. If you didn't understand she would say things like "I dont see what you dont get". Would not take her again or advise any one to.

Comment:
awful teacher! very one-sided, argued with students when they asked questions, made rude, unnecessary comments about students. she was very rude in class and graded unfairly (ie- based on how close your viewpoints were to hers.) she taught more about her opinions than the readings! DO NOT TAKE!

She did not explain what she wanted in papers very well. Very willing to help. Interesting lectures, but a lot of info in class. If you just want to survive Philosophy, not for you. Phil. majors may want to take her.

Doesnt seem to think lectures out much ahead of time, but still manages to get her point acroos. The class wasnt really that difficult if you just do the readings. You can always ask her for help. I know I did.
