The course itself is not well organized and contains a lot of information to cover. Notes and lectures are dense, but tests for the course are based on pure memorization (of everything but student presentations). Does not show much interest in the course after the mt and will sometimes leave the lecture hall midway through a guest lecture.

Doesn't seem to care about the class when you have guest lecturers, including TAs and students of the class, for more than half of the semester. Do not take unless you are really, really, really interested or that its required and you have all the time in the world to study for the early MT and final and to work on the group presentation

Horrible lecturer. She wasn't comfortable in front of the class, and the slides were not clear and too wordy. The quizzes were easy, but the final was not well organized, as it only covered random lectures that hadn't previously been quizzed.

She's not really good at explaining the material clearly. Her notes are LONG and very wordy. She's nice though... But not a good prof. Lots of guest lectures and inclass presentation so not alot of time for her to teach us.

Notes are wordy & dry & hard to understand. Often giggles during lectures for no reason. Doesn't post notes b4 class & makes it hard to follow, so people end up falling asleep. Lab exam is quite hard.

She's the most easiest and nicest bio prof in SFU!! Her quizzes were always fair and straight forward. Serveral hours of study b4 the quizzes ensure u a decent grade. Final was relatively harder than the quizzes but she gave enoff hints b4 hand already. I've always been an average grade person n I got a B in this course~ I will take her again

I doubt Allison will set foot on this course for a long time, so I'll focus more about the technical stuff. Her exams were very easy and she even gave you hints on what materials to study. Presentations were essentially a freebie. Final exam was a bit tough, but fair. She gave some free answers to the questions before the final exam. LOL.

Easy class, easy lab, easy professor, easy 'A'. Straightforward notes and exams ask questions directly from notes; no tricks. Just memorize class notes and you'll do exceptional. Lab is also very laid back; has to be easiest lab.
