Best teacher I've ever had. Registered for the class just looking for an easy A and was into it by the second class. In the end, I was actually disappointed the class was over. A few easy assignments and speeches. Everyone's gets a nickname and the class gets pretty involved at times. If the class is open TAKE IT. Im inviting him to my wedding!

This guy is an AWESOME teacher. He really enjoys talking and telling stories so while other classes gave 5 or 6 speeches, we only gave 1 the entire semester. he gave 2 tests and he tells you EXACTLY what is on it. He so awesome and i totally recommend him to anyone who has to take Oral Rhet or Oral Comm.

Amazing teacher! Oral's are easy, mid term is pure memorization, if he taught any other class besides oral comm I would sign up in a heart beat. He always has the craziest things to say that will make the class seem like it flies by. You're the man Professor Kelly.

He's way too overrated. He's not too smart, he gets VERY VERY annoying after a while. Says "dawg" way too much. Tries to be ghetto cool but it comes off as pretentious. And he prefers pretty girls and guidos.

I loved him! He was always making us laugh and he was always looking to help us out. He is the best professor I have had thus far and he will be incredibly hard to top. He was really easy and made class fun. DEFINITELY take his class... You won't regret it!

He's nice, but the class sucks. His tests are strict memorization. His first speech isn't bad, nor is the second one. The third one sucks. You need to have a 5 min. speech memorized and say it infront of him and the head of the communication department. Worst class ever.

Probably the best professor at SHU. He makes the class extremely fun and adds a touch of reality. He makes some interesting claims, but always backs it up with evidence. (Bush and Iraq/Afghanistan for example) Great experience, I wish I could have a professor like him every semester.

Prof Kelly is one of the best professors I have ever had. He cares so much about his students and he is always pulling for you to do good in his class. Certainly learned a lot from his class but now as a junior I realize that this guy taught me more about life than public speaking. He is an amazing character and his class is certainly worth taking.

This was the best class I had this semester. You do have to read the text if you want to pass, but other than that Prof Kelly genuinely cares about the students. The speeches are actually meaningful because they are about yourself. I LOVED THIS CLASS, it was the BEST!!!

He is an excellent teacher. Very Truthful and up front. He tends to rant but sometimes it's fun. He is crazy and I mean literally and thats what makes the class fun. If you are a person who likes to take classes just to really learn something take him!
