Had him for the 3rd-yr project course, along with Zhang. Nice guy. Lighthearted and helpful. Course taught me a lot, especially about microcontrollers. He and Zhang are great profs and valuable assets to this university.

Very helpful and takes an interest in knowing students and teaching. His british accent isn't hard to understand at all and he makes jokes at times which are hard to understand since they are British! Good in teaching. Sometimes when he looks at you "through" his glasses, its awkward but a great guy overall!!

Really friendly and approchable guy. He even gave me help on a non-class project I was working on. This course isn't the easiest and can get bland after a while, but he does the best he can. Will occasionally make very witty (and very British) comments under his breath, so keep an ear out.

If you don't get his class, drop the one you have and take his, immediately. He's everything a university prof should be and then some. He'd pop in on our labs and tutorials just to make sure we were OK! Tough exam though - be an active student and you'll get A's. I know I did, and I hate electronics. Bloody amazing prof.
