The programs are interetsing, and he trys his best in class to explain stuff to us. However there are fewquent errors in the files he tells us to download for the class and also much confusion in some programs because he doesn't go over them too well in class

Hanson was the best cs teacher ever, he was always there for extra help and actually wanted to help unlike most cs teachers. Definitly take any class u can with him.

Good explanations in class, will answer questions. Doesn't really respond to email or have office hours, have to go to the TA. Powerpoints every lecture that he posts online, so you can review all the notes. Programming projects somewhat challenging, but fair. 2 tests total (1 midterm and final)
