Comment:

Professor Grindle enjoys telling many stories in class that are less relatable to course material and more about gloating. Teaching at a Christian college, I thought she would integrate faith into the course but she seemed to do the opposite. I feel that she is more interested in material possessions than God or her students. (Mathew 6:24)

Comment:

After an entire semester with Grindle, I feel that I have limited knowledge on marketing because her class is very disorganized. Assignments are pushed back, random 6 page homework assignments can just be added to the syllabus, which makes the class unpredictable. Most times the class will seem like a joke until she stacks assignments at the end.

This class was awful. Her slides are no help, and she mostly talks about her husbands company and her family. She was unbelievably unclear about the marketing project, which was one of the four grades for the semester. She is nice but can not explain questions or clarify her assignments. It was super frustrating.

Small Business Development. I don't know why it's a class because Entrepreneurship covers the same things, but is harder and more intellectual. The class was so easy, especially because I did my business for the IVC. You don't have class 1/3 of the time and most of the classes are guest speakers. Take this class with her if you can.

Comment:

Went off on a lot of tangents about her family, which made the material more confusing for me. Gets annoyed when you ask a question and her expectations aren't very clear, and often changed due dates several times. Her exams were mostly common sense though.

This was my 2nd class with Grindle. I wouldn't take any more from her. She doesn't look at students when she lectures and it's a little annoying. She goes off on tangents and talks about her family a lot (in nonrelevant ways). The exams are difficult b/c she makes herself the standard. Doesn't do enough ex. in class. She's a nice person and cares.

Prof. Grindle teaches what the book says, and that's about it. Copy the powerpoint slides and find something to do with the rest of your time. Tests are reasonable, but lectures are many times longer than they need to be. Common sense and a good book/internet connection will get you through. My 300-level course was 100-level difficult.

Professor Grindle is okay. She doesn't look at her students when she teaches and she seems to only know what the book says - she doesn't really go outside of the book - all her slides are from the book. I wouldn't take her again. Exams are fairly easy. Thankfully she doesn't have "trick questions" and she uses ex. alot but its all common sense.
