Comment:

Mrs. Teegarden is a delightful instructor. She does move fast and does expects you to have a solid background in your prerequisites . Very generous in grading, if you can work 75% of the problem you'll get at least half credit. I spent many hours in the Mesa tutor lab to catch up. Overall a reliable instructor.

Lots of homework but she gives ample time to complete but it is a lot. she will tutor u privately or help so you can really understand. Very approachable and kind. Attendance is important she moves fast. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Be prepared for a lot of work! I took the 8-week course and received an A. She uses Web-assign for homework, which IMHO should be banned from all math courses. The professor is Fast-paced and to the point. She is very helpful outside of class and really cares about her students. I would definitely take her again. She is the trig master!

She was a good professor and she was open to anyone who needed more explanation of the day's lesson. I took the 8-week course and almost regretted it. If I hadn't taken trig before I probably would have dropped the class because of all the assignments she gave and the speed of the lessons.

She was more than helpful with anything and everything you ask her and she is more than happy to take time away from her busy schedule to help you understand all that you have questions about. She is very easy to work with and very fasted paced, definitely a teacher you would want to take a course with.

she's very helpful. i feel she gives too much homework. the amount of homework is counter productive. 400-600 problems a week is too much, even if it is an 8 week class. this doesn't include the 2 quizzes for each chapter. the same results could be reached if she focused on quality over quantity. she's a good lady, but you will put in hours to pass

I could not pass the elementary algebra class with another teacher the prior semester and passed her intermediate algebra class with a B! She is very smart, helpful, considerate and respectful. She will drop your worst test in order to give you the best grade possible. No book required. I highly recommend her classes.

She is a good teacher but you really need to be in class and follow along. Do the homework and dont be affraid to ask questions. She does assume people already know certain things but will help if you ask. I got an A somehow but I had to work at it. Tough but fair and good.

This was the most difficult class I ever took - I felt a huge sense of peace when I dropped this class with about 25 other students. She loves worksheets (just like high school) and covers lots of material at a fast pace. I retook this class with Prof. Marquez and it was 100% better.

Prof. Teegarden has a great heart and really does want you to learn, but her class is VERY difficult! The amount of material needed is enough for a 5 unit class. Huge amounts of homework and a lab every week... You may have to correct her notes during lecture....Got a good grade but most of the class dropped or failed...Good Luck!

Teegarden is a great instructor! She's respectful and very clear in her lectures, and will answer your questions. Every lecture goes by the chapters, so you hardly even have to refer to your textbook, although I suggest you do if you want to do well. Her style is organized and easy-to-follow, and definitely wants to help her students.

She is a wierd teacher. She will help you if you ask her questions, but she also takes it for granted you know a lot of things she doesn't clarify on. I got an A, but I know a lot of students that struggled in her class. She does give a good amount of extra credit.

this class literally makes you work. There are so many little things to remember! there were probably only a few A's in the whole class of 30. It is very possible to get an A you will just really need to work and take your own time to study

Pretty good teacher. Will take time to help IF YOU ASK HER. She gives a lot of handouts that remind me of grade school, but otherwise her class is what one would expect. She does seem to generate a lot of loyalty among students who take her for consecutive courses.

Teegarden is AWESOME! She is very helpful and will go above and beyond to help you do well in her class. She's not very organized with her notes and she's dislexic but if you do your homework and take good notes you'll do fine. If you don't understand something just ask and she'll explain it until you get it. I recomend her for both 95 and 96.

Hard a$$ quizes. Seems to be helpful to some students but if she doesn't like you she will ignore you and give short answers when you ask for help. 1 month into class and I'm having more trouble in this class than I ever had in a math class.

Keep up with your homework in this class and don't miss any of the quizzes - most are take home, so don't forget to turn them in. As long as you go to class and pay attention you should do fine. Ask questions if you are confused on anything! Terrie can seem a bit short at times. Her personality is simply straightforward and to the point.

Ms. Teegarden is the best math teacher i have ever had, and i hate math! Her class is a lot of work but she is a great teacher and always explains assignments thoroughly. i took her for 2 semesters as well as many of my classmates. i highly recommend her as a teacher!

She is by far the worst math teacher I have had. She turned me off from becoming a teacher. She is unclear and doesn't teach she expects the students to find out everything on their own. How are we suppose to learn something if we have no clue. Lots of work and ext problems that are difficult. I do not recommend this teacher!
