Allison is my favourite professor in the Fine Arts department! She makes a point of becoming familiar with each student's individual style and helps you to develop it further. She is very approachable and takes the time after class to have conversations if she has not had the chance to speak with you during class time. And an incredible artist!!!

Assignments narrowly focused, clarity definitely an issue, and the class was too big.We only used 2 mediums in class, and she ended up marking the wrong side of my assignment...Seems like a fantastic lady outside of class and should probably teach in a higher level, where focus is more specific in a class' scope, but this class was kind of a dud...

Allison was AMAZING! She is really sweet and always willing to help and gives really good tips and tricks if you ask. She sometimes has difficulty explaining assignments but she'll explain more if ask. If you work hard and show up you'll get a good mark!

Alison is a wonderful professor and my favorite instructor thus far. She brings a cheerful atmosphere to the classroom every day and will ALWAYS help you if you want it. You will not excel in this class if you are not prepared to explore and take risks with your style. In the end it can make you a more adaptable artist.

I took this class hoping it will help that drawing would help my painting and now I consider myself a drawer as well. Alison is a very involved prof. She makes sure to talk to every student in class and gives help with every project. She's very understanding and encourages you to find your own style. Would take another class from her.

Wonderful Prof. She is one of the most understanding and human profs I have had. Although art-speech can be difficult at times, she takes the time (A LOT of time) to explain to you one-on-one what she expects from you on each assignment and gives bucketloads of constructive criticism without making you feel like an idiot. Classmates bonded as well.
