professor winter is one funny lady, if you can understand her humor. gives you plenty of time to complete assignments and is always willing to help. real big on class participation but doesn't force it on you like some teachers do.

awesome teacher she is very clear on what she wants done. not very many things are graded but what she does grade she grades well. she will not hesitate to help when you need it. she will always tell you when your doing well or when your having some trouble. overall an awesome teacher and would highly recommend.

Professor Winter is a great professor. She knows her stuff, she is very clear in how she teaches it, and she works to make sure you succeed. She is a tough grader, and her lectures can be extremely boring. She's very quiet and it's easy to doze off. Besides that, great teacher.

She is awesome. She is caring. She give good feedback on papers. I know she is well respected by other members of the English Dept. She doesn't have a lot of homework other than 3 papers and the work that leads up to it. I would highly suggest her.

Really good English teacher who knows here material backwards and forwards. She'll make you do a lot of reading and writing but it's all in the name of building solid skills and it's really satisfying to work your way to an A.

She's a great teacher! She's got a great sense of humor, which I found to be very engaging. Students aren't very vocal, but she tries to make the class as interesting as she can. She's very understanding as long as you communicate with her. She's super friendly and has an open door policy. Her assignments are very easy. Highly recommend!

She is a good teacher and there is little to no homework but she grades way to hard. She used to teach at Truman and expects your papers so be amazing. I would always get A's or B's on papers and she would give be D's and F's and I know my papers were not bad because I had another teacher look at it and she said it was good. Do not recommend.
