Lectures were constantly all over the place, but he kept them somewhat interesting. Pop quizzes were often quite tricky. Tests were much harder than what I expected. I was mostly disappointed with him showing little care when visiting his office hours.

Professor Wang was great. I looked forward to his lectures, they were always interesting and he has a fun sense of humor. He does 10 pop quizzes in the semester and takes your highest 6 scores, and then three exams with an optional final. Make sure you get your SONA credits done early. Enjoyable class and clear material and grading criteria.

Professor Wang is a good professor, despite what some might say. You have to read the assigned chapters -- there's NO way around it. Read and you WILL be fine. He's very kind and very understanding. Drops 4 of 10 quizzes and 1 exam which includes and OPTIONAL final. DONT SKIP CLASS THOUGH, the pop quizzes WILL get to you

pop quizzes are given. lectures the whole time. test are very hard and on random things, not really from power points. Class was hard. Heard online and other professors were much easier.

I love his lectures and he has an amazing sense of humor. His 50 question exams are quite hard and are not entirely based on lectures and powerpoints so you have to read!! His pop quizzes are weighted the same as exams so they can bring you down a couple percent. You definitely have to work very hard for an A.

Wasn't expecting this to be an easy class by any means, but even with days of studying, his tests are ridiculously hard. I read the textbook, went to all of his lectures, and no matter the amount of studying I put in, it is almost impossible to earn anything above a B, if that. Wanted to like this class, but he makes it way too stressful to enjoy

You really get to know Dr. Wang in Windows to the World. Don't judge him from Symposium. He tells fantastic stories about life and his experiences, and he prepares you extremely well for interviews and resume writing skills. He's very amusing and kind, and to get a letter of recommendation from the Dean of the Honors College looks great! A+ prof.

i HATED this class. if it wasnt for all of the benefits of being in honors, i would have dropped out of honors just so i could stop going to this class. i HATED my team and going to the lecture everyweek was torture. i wanted to die during my field trip and i was miserable everytime we had to go out together as a team. too bad its mandatory.

This is the agenda for every class: Show up and sit with your team. Listen to announcements. Listen to the guest lecturer. Go off into the teams and disscuss stuff. Go home. There is one mandatory social outing. There may be parties dependent upon who your team leader is. Sometimes the guest is boring, other times not. Don't judge before you see em

Ah, the Wangster! I found him a bit odd, but he seems to really care about everyone in honors. My team leader was AMAZING and I really liked my group. Some of the sessions were really boring but my team leader and my group always made going worth it. Show up and participate a little and you will pass. : ) Great way to make new friends.

My beef with symposium was that they almost try to create a social life for us, emphasizing our obligation of allegiance to our "Honors family", and the moral standards that come from its authority alone. It annoyed the crud out of a lot of people including myself that he referred to the announcements as an "infomercial" every week, without fail.

Even if you're antisocial, you'll make friends among your team. You might find him staring at you from across the room if you doze off or have giggle fits. I'm not talking about myself!

Required one-credit hour class. Most lectures are boring, true, but just sit through it. No work involved. All honors students will get to know him, and make jokes about him.
