She is a very deep thinker which, although fitting for philosophy, is a little too intense for a 101 class. I worked myself to the bone for this class and it was to no avail. However, I had no idea what was going on at least 50% of the time and I got A's on everything she assigned because she could tell I was trying. scary teacher, good grader.

If she was to actually teach the class may be bearable however she assumes that everyone has the same understanding of the concepts as she does and just talks about them in ways that no one can possibly understand rather than breaking down the ideas. I would not take this professor as she is extremely rude and the lectures are long and boring.

This is philosophy class, and she is so incredibly focused on responses being formatted the way she wants. I am a junior, I've taken 2 online classes every semester and Ive never had a prof complain about my writing style so much. She wants all your responses to be like a math equation, giving no chance for free thought. Never got full credit.

I took her Philosophy class and it was awful. She was very unclear about all the assignments and does not give good feedback on assignments. I would not take her again. I would suggest looking for another teacher. I got the feeling like she doesn't care about her students.
