Amber has a passion for her profession. She bends over backwards to help her students. If you do your homework and study for the exams, you will do fine. Also sign up for the math lab on the first floor, not the third floor. They are awsome, plus it can count for hours towards full-time status, but not your GPA. This class was awsome. Good Luck.

What a horrid teacher!!! I despised that class. Thinking of having to put up with her narrow-minded liberal views everyday in a MATH class made my skin crawl. She couldn't teach math for the life of her. I managed to get an A by reading the book. Her baby-talk voice was so annoying. I wanted to slap her. She favored you if you were an idiot.

Awesome teacher, loved her. I hate math and she actually made me like it. She related the problems to real life issues so we could see where we would actually use it in the future. She was always available for help and would stick with you until you understood. Just keep on top of the homework and you will do fine.

One thing I really like about Amber is her availability, as mentioned before..if you can't make her normal office hours, she will stay to help you. She is always in the math lab. The only thing I didn't really like was that sometimes I felt like I was being spoken down to, like a child almost..other than that..she's a good professor.

She is very helpful and patient. If you don't understand the section she will stay at school to accomodate your available hours. And more importantly, she doesn't make you feel stupid if you have to ask questions in class. She gives clear expectations and is very nice.

She was, by far, the best math teacher I've ever had. She was always willing to answer questions, and work with you outside of class if you needed to. I did wonderfully because I tried really hard, and without all her help I probably wouldn't have. I feel like most who don't like her just don't like math or didn't try hard enough. She explained not only how to do a problem, but why you do it a certain way. She does go fast though, luckily I was able to keep up.

Hated her...especially when she added up my points wrong, but like 20, on my final test. I really didn't like her teaching style..I didn't want to know all the ins-and-outs of how and why a formula or theory worked, just show me out to work the formula and I'm good to go.

i've had bad math teachers, and she's one of the worst i've ever had. she's not even a real teacher, she's a mathmatician. she doesn't cut it in my book. and like everyone else said, she's rude.

Wonderful teacher. I really enjoyed working with her. I feel that most people who dont like her usually dont try in class. I worked hard and did very well. She gives you all the tools you need to suceed. You just have to try.

i can understand why people dont like amber, but i thought she was a good teacher. she wont progress unless she knows everyone understands. she will always stop to help someone who is lost. the one bad thing is there is SO MUCH hmwk, its crazy. but amber herself is a very good teacher.

Amber is such a help. Her office hours are awesome, and she is so willing to help you pass. Makes the class applicable to everyday problems with finances, ect. The homework is intense, but you will actually remember concepts learned. I recommend her to anyone!!
