He's a very sweet guy and very passionate about the topic. Sometimes he can come off as a little abrasive over email, but otherwise willing to work with you on assignments and your schedule. Very responsive.

Really great! He's a sweet guy and a good teacher. He's a fairly easy grader. If he can see that you are trying he will give you a good grade even if you make a lot of mistakes. The actual learning to him is more important than a grade. He also doesn't give too much homework.

Comment:

Professor Danylenko is very helpful while trying to learn a language for the first time! He makes everyone participate, yet also makes everyone comfortable when they do have to participate. When I realized towards the end of the semester I needed my grade to be higher than it was, he was helpful in giving me opportunities to raise my grade.

Comment:

One of the nicest professors at Pace. If you go willing to learn, you'll get a good grade. You can get a bunch of things wrong on a test, but receive an 80/85. He usually used the whole time and brought in substitutes. Online homework was extensive but helpful. He makes everyone participate in class, but makes everyone feel comfortable too.

This man really cared about his students and his class was wonderful. Group work here and there but only to present a short exercise from the book. All in all, he makes everyone participate and he's just a great guy who cares if you learn the language. Good sense of humor.

He's good at his job and he breaks up his formulaic teaching style with nice bouts of humor. You have to put forth effort and do your work and he likes it when you ask for help. He grades on a slight curve, especially if you are giving it your all. He doesn't like to be very flexible, but you can always work things out with him.

I had Danylenko for Fre 101. Great teacher, gets to know all the students' names and really tries to interact with everyone. Wish he didn't use the online site for the textbook, but the homeworks and quizzes are reasonable. His tests are on par with what you learn in class. He is very accommodating and tries to have fun with what he's teaching.

He's a great professor. He knows what he wants from his students (like silence while he's speaking, or showing up on time; not entirely unreasonable). If you have specific questions (this is a language class and thus everyone's level is different) he is very helpful, often asking others in the class. Definitely take!

He should stick to teaching foreign language because he has absolutely no idea about CSD related courses. He can get very nasty with students if he finds them as a threat. Most students in his class knew the material better then he did. Requires WAY too much work.

Is the worst professor ever! Doesn't give you any information on things he wants you to do. When he replies to emails, hes rood. Continues to be rude in class, and tell students when they are asking a question in class to "sh". How do i pay 50,000$ to go to a school, where a professor talks to me like I'm some type of idiot.
