If you can take another teacher for SPAN121, please do. She may have been a better instructor in the past, but she really needs to retire. She does not speak very loudly, and speaks mostly in Spanish so if you have only taken 1 semester of Spanish ever you are in trouble. She also does not understand anything you ask her. Just avoid her.

If this is your first year taking Spanish, do not take her. She teaches very fast and assigns homework of the lesson days before actually going over the lesson. She expects you to know Spanish. I took Spanish in high school and it was an easy A for me, but everyone who hadn't struggled.

The completion of this teacher's class marked my 7th year of spanish. I aced her class. However, never before have I seen such a lack of control of a teacher's students. She is quite difficult to work with. She wouldn't let me make up a quiz I missed when I had to go to my uncles funeral. Do not recommend.
