I think Amgad may be slipping, and so will your grades. Everyone said that you will grow to like him, but after taking three of his courses this seems to be a lie. He is very hard to follow in class, does not want to take liability for anything so he does not post all his notes and expects you to remember every word from his mouth. Good luck...

Amgads big ego ruins the learning experience. He uses scare tactics to make you think that your exams will be the most difficult thing ever. and then they are the most difficult thing ever. his assignments are far too time consuming and can be 30 pages long in the end. He also doesn't seem to understand that you are taking other courses with his.

Amgad doesn't understand that you have 4 other courses besides Concrete. Assignments take days, and can be up to 25-30 pgs long. Likes to make simple concepts difficult. Notes are terrible, mistakes everywhere. Midterm was on a topic covered in one day, other topics took weeks to cover. Asking for help is useless, he makes you feel stupid.

Best prof I have had. Very cool, easy to get along with, good to share a joke with. Loves his cigarettes. But not as bad as Neifer. Do as much practice as you can and you'll ace his exams. Get old exams, chances are, some questions would be the same.
