He is so horrible. It is not even funny. He seems like every lecture's material is completely disconnected from whatever was mentioned earlier. Not helpful, overly self-confident. Gives a hard midterm, doesn't explain anything after. I loved astrophysics, after taking his class, don't wanna take it ever again.

True to the fact that makes the midterm easy and the final really hard. And has to explain the problems. Basically does half the problem for you. If ever take classes with him - ask him LOTS of questions during the midterm and final. He'll tell you how to do it. It's unfair, but take advantage of it.

Horrible professor. Ridiculously easy midterm followed by killer final. Gave some students complete explanations of exam problems, including diagrams on board, during test (completely unfair, but necessary because exams were so badly written). Writing hard to read. Long, rambling lectures. Unhelpful during office hours. Avoid at all cost!

A tough course and Ghezelbash doesn't do anything to help with it. The textbook was god awful and, like most phys assignment these days, I can't imagine people doing these without doing them in groups. Picks two random examples that he likes and makes them a significant portion of the tests

He's an OK prof. He has a thick accent but I'm fine with it. Almost every lecture he runs out of time (he tends to rant sometimes). His assignments are easy, and his tests are not too hard. He gives lots of opportunities to do well (there was virtually no time limit on the midterm). And he gave us a very comprehensive formula sheet.

makes hard tests altho they shud only take 15-20 min cuz theres only 20 MCs. But there are easy assignments. The final was killer hard. most ppl dropped 10-15% after the final, even tho it was worth only 40%.

easiness is given a 1 - but not his fault because it's a faculty thing and engineering physics is hard. Very poor teacher at physics - just do what everyone else does and sit in on mech engineers lecture with Rohan (he's awesome) --Tries to help students

Very good teacher. Eventhough the accent might bother some ppl, after going to a few lectures you get used to it. Knows his material really well. Answers questions well in office hours , and tries to help as much as possible.

Helpful. Unfortunately has no clue whatsoever about the material. It seems as if he is learning it with us. Fortunately I only attended 2 lectures the entire semester and still passed the course. If you want easy, get him. If you want interesting, avoid !
