I liked her a lot, the group paper sucks but you'll be fine if you actually do the research. A lot of people think she's scary but she's pretty cool.

I was not too excited about taking the course and she quite frankly ruined any interest in that field. Not global issue" but really its food global issues. You sit in class do nothing but a lot of work. She demands respect and validation but gives little. Gives poor and sloppy feedback. Would have learned more within 5 minutes of online research.

She is a very tough grader who does not give very helpful feedback. Final group research paper is a huge portion of your grade. Quizzes every week along with other homework. She is a nice person but I would not taker her as a prof again.

Final group essay almost tanked my grade, and gives feedback that really isn't helpful. I signed up for the class thinking it would be about war and peace, and it ended up being a genocide seminar at 8 in the morning

Gives a ridiculous group final paper that tanked my grade and gives unhelpful feedback to assignments.

She is somewhat snarky. If you like to get made fun of when asking questions or feel be Littles when something isnt clear shes your teacher! Youll have 50-200 readings before every class a long with a quiz. Plus 10 hours of volunteer service. She rides a high horse and brags about how she makes people change their major.

I honestly do not know how to describe this professor. I very much felt like I was in high school in her class, by that I mean the classes were unproductive and doesn't respond to emails. She messes up on her quiz making 7 out of 10 times, claims she will fix our grades, and never does... (like 10 point mess ups). Do not take her.

Not a hard class to pass if you just read and pay attention. Lots of reading, but the only homework she ever gives is to take quizzes on the readings. The quizzes are never timed and we only had to do one project that wasn't too hard. She assigns 8 hours of volunteer work that will be used to write one of the essays on the final exam

Comment:
Lectures rarely pertained to the class and often result in debates. There are quizzes due before every class period that often have questions/ answers that are incorrect. At the end of the semester, there were so many complaints about the quizzes that Ms. Hudnall refused to fix anything involving quizzes. Highly opinionated.

Had her 4 years ago. Worst experience of my life. Unorganized. Didn't inform me about changes made to my final project while I had both mono and bronchitis. Completely unorganized and doesn't give justifiable grades. When trying to talk to Amy after she failed me, she cussed at me, insulted at my intelligence, and slammed 3 doors in my face.

Very particular- she'll take off points for technicalities and rarely if ever, gives partial credit. Best way to pass is just to agree with her. There is a reading quiz on anywhere from 50-100 pages every class period.

She's the bomb! If you enjoy learning, you will love her. She is not a professor to take if you just want a grade and don't care about content. She expects you to be meaningful in your dialogue and your research. She's opinionated, yes, but expects students to be opinionated too if they can adequately support their stance. Be active in class!

Amy is my absolute favorite professor. She's passionate about teaching and she really wants students to grow both academically and personally through her coursework. She assigns group projects to teach about conflict transformation, and I am grateful for the many lessons I learned. I've had her multiple times. She challenges you in the best ways!

Mrs. Hudnall was a very opinionated professor. Best way to pass her class is get on her good side. Had a group project that was 60 percent of my grade, was given an 85 as an individual but a 60 as a group which ruined my grade considering she grades on very few things. There is no way I would ever take her class again

I couldn't stand having to go over quizzes every class, I thought the professor was supposed to make quizzes that were right. There's one project that's 60% of your grade so you can skip every class and do fine on that and the quizzes and pass. Generally disorganized class.

Signs up for a World Civ. class and gets a Gender Studies class on women's oppression throughout history. Honestly, take home quizzes based on readings that aren't that difficult, I always manage a 80 or higher. The KILLER is these 30 min. in class essays. Come in prepared for them, her grading on writing is subjective and she is very opinionated.

This class was horrible. I was in world civilization, but she was teaching it basically as a women's history class. The essays had very little to do with world civilizations, and the entire class was geared around women. If I wanted a class like that, I'd sign up gender studies.

Hudnall prefers it when students teach each other and learn from the books. If you like disorganized class, then, this is for you. Assignments will sound easy but then she grades them with high expectations. I learned a lot from the books rather than the instructor. The books were interesting but were expensive and cannot be resold at the school.

She's an amazing professor. I'm taking her for the second time and love going to her classes. She's hard, but she's always fair and she will ALWAYS go out of her way to help you. I was in a bad car accident and she was amazing about the whole thing which other professors weren't. She is a teacher who cares and will do whatever she can to help you.
