I took her 1314 online class. All the work is through a program called math connect, which ultimately means that you have to teach your self college algebra. The test, and quizzes weren't that hard, its having to teach your self math that is difficult. if your not good at math, I probably won't take her class online.

If you struggle with math take this class!!! I have always failed or struggled in math and can you believe I have a B in her class. The way everything is set up is perfect for me . Lets you take the homework as many times as you need to improve your score and gives examples! Mrs. lorestani is very attentive and gets back to you immediately.

I took this class online, flex. She gives extensions if you ask for it. If one person asks for an extension the entire class gets an extension. Responds promptly to emails. Since the class was online, I had to basically teach myself from the textbook. It was a little difficult because of this reason. I would take her again because of her flexibilty

I hate that she doesn't release grades even though everything says its been graded. However her lectures are easy to follow. She's willing to work with you as well so long as you do your work. For example, I was out of class a lot and still had a great grade. Her accent can also be difficult to understand at first.

Hands down best math professor Ive ever had. Really cares about her students, explains everything thoroughly in her lectures, doesnt mind explaining things over and over until everyone gets it. The material is hard, but you can pass if you put in the time. Im a math moron and its the first time in my life that I understood the material.

I'm so happy I took Professor Lorestani! She made me finally understand math and get a good foundation for Pre-Calculus. She is very thorough in her explanations and cares about the students learning the material and passing. If you are not a math wiz, take her! You won't be sorry!

I've struggled with math my entire life. I loved professor Lorestani because she cared about us passing and motivated us along the way. She covers the material step-by-step and goes over as many examples as needed until people get it. If you do your part, you'll pass. Her class is a good foundation for advanced mathematics. Take her!

I LOVE HER. This is my second semester taking her. She is super clear on lectures. She does not make you feel stupid if you ask questions in class. I took College Algebra and PreCalculus with her and I made As. Hands down best teacher I ever had at SAC.

Easily one of the best professors I've had. As long as you keep up with homework, take decent notes in class and study, you should pass. She really does care about her students and wants everyone to succeed. She gives tons of partial credit on exams as long as your mistakes weren't catastrophic. She brightened my day and made class enjoyable

Best teacher ever! She's always willing to help, just come to her office if you have questions. on-line HW, quizzes, 4 tests ; they are easy. They cover everything she taught. Just study and you will get an A. Highly recommended.
