All of Dr. K's courses are extremely thought-provoking. She strives to help students improve their critical thinking and writing skills. My life has been greatly impacted since taking her courses.

Comment:
She thinks way too highly of herself to correct flaws which do exist in her own teaching. It's obvious that she's one of those professors who just can't teach. She needs to leave a 'teaching' university!

Dr. Keating is by far the most brilliant, and respecftul professor I have ever been blessed to learn from. She cares so deeply for her students and truly knows what she is talking-I am quite confused by some of the posts on here about Dr. K., as I am assuming that I was in class with many of you and cant figure out how we had such diff. experiences

She can't hold a conversation without getting in a personal jab at the student. Maybe she should spend more time learning instead of talking.

I don't think it's appropriate for the teacher to use our class time for reading other stuff. I think this advertises against women's studies deserving academic respect. She does not appear responsible.

Excellent class! Dr. Keating is well versed in this area! She challenges her students and makes room for you to apply your own research (dance, sociology, rhetoric, etc.) within the context of the course material. Very enlightening and smart! We are lucky to have her at TWU!

Dr. Keating's courses require you to dig deeper! If you are shallow and superficial as a graduate student, then her courses are not for you! However, if you aim to be an intellectual and desire social change then Sign-Up! Her courses require you to THINK!

Great course on women of color. Not for the faint hearted, those looking for easy answers, or those who want to sit and sleep while the teacher does the lecturing. Hands on class.

This 'professional' insists on doing her 'leisure' reading during our class time, and shunts us off to do 'free writing'. What a twit!!!!
