Liakos is great if you have a decent grip on the material. He doesn't collect homework and gives a really short quiz each chapter based on the homework. It can be hard to stay awake during his lectures but he's very knowledgeable and wants to make your life easier. He doesn't always have the clearest explanations, but definitely a solid teacher/

Excellent teacher. Not only does he care about his students, but really wants them to learn. He is very funny and makes class very enjoyable! Best math modeling teacher. HIGHLY recommend.

Great guy he really tries to relate to the students. He actually cares and is willing to make some changes to help the students out. If you put in some effort you will get a good grade, it is very tough to do poorly in his class.

2nd time I've had him as a professor, and I think he's great! Very understanding to late work if you have questions or got slammed with midshipmen duties. Always ready for EI and it actually helps clarify the tough topics. Grades a little tough, but always offers extra credit.

Good teacher, was hard to understand towards the end of the semester. No graded homework, but gives quizes in class on the homework problems from time to time. As long as you have the drive to learn you will, but if you don't have the drive to do homework, your grade will suffer.

He's alright, the class is pretty boring but it's not his fault. Easy grader, gives partial credit. Hard to stay focused in class, and tests are harder than the stuff you actually do in class. If you do the homework (which he never checks) you'll be fine. Cool guy.

Couldnt find a better calc. teacher who gives great lectures, is always available for help, and will work with you to get whatever grade you want to get. Just pay attention in lecture, take a few notes, go to review sessions before tests, do homework (the quizzes are all hw problems from the night before) and you will get an A or B guaranteed

World's Awesomest teacher ever!!!!!The man is simply amazing and can teach extremely well. He is very helpful and is willing to go out of his way too help mids out. He loves mids no matter how much of dicks they are...seriously! so choose him for any math class. he really preps for the final!

Awesome professor. I had a great time in the class and I learned a lot. Much of the information is review from Calc III and Matrix Theory but Prof. Liakos clarified even the hardest stuff from Matrix Theory and proved how simple it all really was. Great class and awesome professor - highly recommended.
