Good lecturer, however there are a lot of really obscure things you end up being tested on that didn't seem at all important. Lots of lab content, and the other professors are not as good

Dr. Buret is hands down one of the best prof's I ever had. Very enthusiastic about his material, and genuinely cares about his students. BUT, this course is very biased towards students who don't want to study very hard. Attended every class also for the video conference lectures, still pulled off a crappy grade. Save your 600 bucks if you can.

Cannot recommend his classes enough!!! Andre is hands down the best professor in the bio sci department and the best prof I had in 4 years. The worst part of video conference class was the other lecturers. And that French accent...yowza

Funny that everyone thinks he's hot - he's not that young. But a very nice, very funny man. I liked how he put jokes into his lectures to keep our attention, and how everything made so much sense that you didn't need to stuyd very much at the end...just memorize a couple terms, then you'd be good to go! All around GREAT prof.

He teaches parts of Zool 352 at UofA through video conference. Hardly anyone asks him questions or for clarifications in class, because he really explains concepts well. He's also quite pleasant to look at and listen to first thing in the morning... :D

Brilliant, charming, kind, dedicated. A pleasure to have been taught by him. What a guy!!! He has enthusiasm to spare, and the accent (swoon)! Oh yeah...WORK THOSE JEANS, ANDRE!!!

Dr. Buret by far is one of the best biological sciences prof the university has. Such a nice and gentle man. Parasitology is not hard, but it's a hell of a lot of stuff to memorize. However, it is absolutely interesting. Highly recommended!! ^^

Dr. Buret is a good professor who I believe rose above the other profs teaching ZOOL 483 in his organization of his lectures. Exams were hard, but Dr. Buret is quite a friendly guy who will go the extra mile to teach you the material.
