A decent prof. Breath of fresh air compared to the previous one. Knows his stuff, and tests are fair. Most of what you need to know will be on the slides.

Andre Robert was okay (to me). He was the second prof and was thankfully, a LOT better than the first. His lectures and slides were amazingly organized and broken down a lot more than the first prof. Content was hard for me personally because I don't have a background in science but other than that he was a good prof.

Clear and concise. Attend all lectures (no need to record lect), take good notes, do readings and prepare accordingly for tests and you'll get an A. If you are interested in fluvial processesgeomorphology he is your man @ York. He is also head of phys. geog dept. so its good to get to know him if you are in that dept.

Simple, concise, and well organized teaching. Test are straight out of the lectures. Attend classes and read the lecture notes and his tests will not be hard. Make sure you prepare well for the detailed long answer part of his test. Lot to memorize, but not too hard marking. I enjoyed his class.

Really enjoyed his section in physical geography. Always approachable and answers question / willing to help - even if it wasn't his official office hours! Tests are a bit tricky (Multiple Choice) Study & go to lectures.

Prof.Robert is an awesome lecturer. He knows what he's talking about.Although I wasn't too interested in phys.geo, his section of the course wasn't too bad. His lecture slides were very informative-really helped when studying for the tests. His tests aren't too difficult. Provides a mini review for the tests. Loved his discussions on New Zealand!

A top tier prof who has a vested interest in both his students and his field of work. Unfortunately he won't be here the coming year because of his sabbatical leave. His accent does add some flare to class. Rocks a very evenly grown beard.

Really nice prof, who was always willing to clarify things discussed in both the tutorial and lecture. Way helpful when it came to individual presentations - overall the course was kind of dry but the way he taught it made it easy to follow and understand.

Robert is amazing, he is the best prof I had for Physical Geography. Cute accent, very fair and approachable. I would sit into his 2nd year Geomorphology class...I never knew that I was interested in that kind of stuff until I had him as a Prof!
