Awesome professor. Make class interesting and it goes fast. You learn a lot and much of it is related to what is taking place in the world today. Inserts popular workplace videos and articles into classes along with everything else, for a lively end of class discussion. She was very fair with her grading. Only drawback - you have to attend class

So midterm and final are straight memorizing material. Individual presentation and group work is graded critically. While a great person she prescribes to the Siena school of dont give out too many As

Professor Smith is amazing and truly cares about her students! If you make an effort she will help with anything. She gives you the exact questions and answers for the exam but expects that exact answer and nothing less nor different. Attendance is mandetory and she takes it very seriously. Dry material but group work & short videos every class.

Two tests, she gives you the questions beforehand. All you need to do is memorize the answers, which are long but its not a hard class. She's fun and makes class interesting but you MUST show up. Takes attendance very seriously.

A solid professor. I learned a lot in class and really enjoyed it. I also thought that the tests and cases (aka what the bulk of the grade consisted of) were very fair and reasonable.

Overall a great professor and a good class. I liked getting the exams questions before. It made the exams less stressful. You could also not do well on the exams and still do well in the class, since there were other items graded. The homeworks were easy and allowed you to learn the material. Classes were interesting and very interactive.

You are graded by a few things so even if you don't do great on the midterm and final you can still do good in the class. She was a tough grader and gives you the questions to the midterm and final but you have to memorize them because she gives you blank paper with those questions on it. Her class is fairly easy to pass i would take her again

If you are good at memorization, I highly suggest this class, if you are not, avoid her. Her exams are 10 questions with multiple parts, all long response and you must memorize word for word.

Avoid this professor... Two test that are verbatim memorization. Gives test questions ahead of time but they are long question with multiple parts each. Super tough grader she takes points off your test everywhere she can if definitions are not word for word correct.

2 tests and she gives you the questions ahead of time, but its still a lot of memorization. Only a few homeworks and they are all very easy. Her grading for presentations is strange (everybody received a grade somewhere in the 80's, no matter how bad/good it was). Overall easy course and solid professor, I would take her again

A great class and great professor. She loves to teach and it shows. Classes were interesting and included a lot of the materials related to what was happening in the real world. Lots of in class discussions. Two exams, doable homework assignments and a case group project.

She marked my grade down on an assignment because she said I never handed it in, meanwhile I gave it to her TWICE but she lost both copies and forgot. She had at most 20 students in the class and never learned my name. Tests were an hour and a half long and required verbatim memorization. Avoid this professor at all costs.

I absolutely loved taking class with this professor. She really knew her stuff. She always related the class lecture to what was happening that day/week in the news. She also helped me a lot outside of class with the course and even what I was going to do beyond Siena ( I am a senior). Definitely recommend her.

She's a great professor and a wonderful person. There are only two tests in her class; the midterm and the final. She will give you the questions to ahead of time to both. That being said the tests are extremely long and require you to do excessive writing. She is a tough grader demanding you to really know the material. Overall easy class.

She's an awesome professor. Classes are interested and she wants everyone to do well. Only tests are a midterm and final which she gives you all the questions for so it's just straight memorization. Case study with a group, need to put in a lot of work but it's not difficult. Would definitely recommend taking her class, she's awesome!

A great teacher. Very straightforward with the expectations. Needed more depth to written work - for the homeworks and cases, but everything was doable. Enjoyed the classes, which were very interactive. Class time went by fast. definitely recommend.

If you value deep learning in a liberal arts environment this is not the class to take. She will take any half baked answer to her questions and then grade for complete perfection on her tests. Ex: defining garbage can theory with the creator's words and not hers is incorrect. She is consistently unclear and allows you to read off your ppt slides.

Don't agree with the previous comments. My group received a 93 for our case and some students got even higher. The cases are harder than the exams but none of this is overwhelming. overall a great class. She is also a great teacher but she gets it that you are taking other courses. The class covers a lot of material but it is very interactive,

the class is pretty easy and is mostly a massive info dump (the mid term and final questions are given to you in advance. However she's incredibly unclear with regards to the group project and incredibly anal with grading the classes presentations the highest grade being a 90. The book is a total waste of money but sadly you need the wiley HW's

TAKE THIS CLASS. First, all the athletes take it so that definitely means that its easy. Second, she gives out all the questions to the midterm and final during class, word by word, so you know what to expect for the tests and its honestly the easiest A I've ever gotten. She so helpful and wants you to do well.
