Just finished his class and I thought he was ok. At one point I think he was rated one of the worst profs in the University: http://www.the-peak.ca/article/19835 DO NOT BUY THE RECOMMENDED TEXT BOOK FOR THIS CLASS, he uses his own notes and website. The exams I thought were pretty fair, mix of hard and easy questions, his grading too.

worst prof ever. stupid notes. where the hell did he learn to write notes like this? don't know what the heck i am studying. lectures make me fall asleep. it's like the worst 3 hours of my week every single week. what the hell is 60 cent? seriously, what a joke!!! waste of time and money. get ready for some BS if you wanna take his class.

Worst prof in my 4 years university studies. He simply can't teach. Cannot explain the material at all. Make stupid joke that just confused students even more. Notes are useless. Does not really use the text book. He is very unorganized.

His notes are very very very very hard to follow! His explanations sometimes don't lead to the conclusions he is trying to make or just don't make sense. Expect to self-study a lot, don't rely only on his lectures and notes because you will only be confused.

Had him for intro finance at U of Sask; never worked so hard, and never understood so well after I was finished. Went to him for extra guidance in upper years. Study under him if you're serious about finance. Study marketing if you're not.

His notes is exactly the same as the way he talks, which is to split a single sentence into 5 incomplete ones. Had to delete all the #, * and spaces from his notes to actually read it. Does not use the textbook at all and his attitude toward students is extremely offensive.

He spends a lot of time explaining stuff that is logical or is common sense. He has a pretentious attitude toward students and has a tremendous amount of difficulty explaining things. I actually had to go to his office hours for clarity, which I never had to do for any of my other courses.

ATTENTION POTENTIAL 316 STUDENTS: You will get a decent mark, but you will never learn so little. DO NOT take 316 with Cheung. He tries hard and understands the subject very well, but cannot communicate it. Don't buy the textbook, and don't worry if you feel like you got 25% on the final, I got a B and have never understood so little.

he's a good teacher. A little hard to understand sometimes, not cause of his accent but becaue the stuff he is explaining is complicated. He is always available for extra help if you go and talk to him. His knowledge in the course is immense. I would take another course with him. Exams are not that tough, just a little cramped on time.

His Hong Kong accent is really good. It's easy for Chinese to understand. The stuff is very easy at least he doesn't teach any financial calculus and ****ing brownian motion.
