Don't take him! I signed up for his PS 101 class b/c I had extra hours but his class is a joke-his puts his lecture online but they are simplistic and dry and not helpful at all for the tests, even with careful reading of the book his tests are way too hard, and he is just a rude guy. He seems to forget he is teaching a 101 class!

Honestly, avoid him. Hes not a great teacher. He spends a lot of time proving formulas which is useless in this class. We never use the book. The only thing that helped me get through this class is the recitation. Yeah, not so great of a teacher...try for someone else!

If you have the misfortune of finding yourself in one of this man's sections, alter your schedule so that you can attend another lecturer or just hope your T.A. is good. He rambles non stop, and usually averages two problems per class. His class grade averages speak volumes.

Dr. Martins is so difficult to understand...He is seriously on another planet while teaching. Basically he goes over the homework...does very little actual teaching. I ended up having to withdrawl 1/3 of the way through the semester. Avoid if at all possible.

Dr. Martin is crazy to say the least. Class was spent listening to him pronounce words and then draw pictures on the overhead. He means well by all means, and will help you outside of class. However, he is just too looney to teach the math that is needed to pass the class.

I think Dr. Martin means well and wanted students to learn. However, he is extremely hard to understand and every class is spent watchin him do homework problems. if you can do the hw, no need to go to class. he is so hard to understand that i started going to chapmans class, and that was much more helpful. i would avoid him if you can.
