Amazing lecturer for ECE222, clear, engaged and always answers student's questions during lectures and after class. Just make sure you do his assignments and you will be prepared for his exam, his exam is basically variation of his assignments.

An amazing professor. He is very knowledgeable and caring. The course is for grad students, so students number was very small if compared with number of undergrad students in their courses, I think that is why some undergrad students complain. The course was very organized with a small number of students. I would definitely recommend him.

One of the best professors. Always ready to help students. Approachable during office hours. Marking is fair, exam questions are all related to class conten and he is a nice guy! Only thing is all students don't listen and understand in the class, as they are busy jotting down the notes. Well, that depends on a student! Will recommend him any day.

He just copies notes on the board and we were all busy copying the board and didn't have time to listen to his explanation. He should've post the notes and explain them. At the end of the term, someone convinced him to finally posted his notes but it was too late. Notes were organized and informative. Exam was all based on notes and assignments.

He is very helpful in office hours. When he presented material without slides, classes were more effective. Nevertheless, the exam contained challenging problems not covered on assignments but exam material was heavily based on assignments, You are far less likely to fail in Morton's class than for other 222 profs.

Very helpful. Andrew changed the CS450 project in my year and was unaware of the amount of work he added. However, he was very accommodating and self-critical that he scaled back the assignment when he realized his mistake. He handles problems very transparently. The only way you can fail is if you put zero effort.

Clearly filling in for another professor for the term for this class. Lectures were slightly disjointed but easy to understand. Assignments were really tough at times but the exams were silly easy. Beware, the monotone.

An amazing professor. He genuinely cares about what he teaches, and it shows. His lectures are very organized and explained thoroughly (he doesn't just read). Assignments and exams are fair. If you have a good understanding of the material you should do well.

Easy lectures, easy material, easy exams. If the avg seems high, he makes the finals tough. Be ready to see unexpected things in the exams. You need to know the material very well in order to score good though. Not a bird course. P.S. he looks like chubby tom cruise :P

He is alright. Quite monotone/boring, but he gives a lot of examples so you usually get the stuff alright. Might feel lost at times, but stuff comes together eventually. The 5 min breaks were nice since you can get really bored. If you go to lecs you won't need the text, just course notes. Assignments were good since short.Final easier than midterm

Comment:
ECE 429 is hard to begin with, and sometimes it feels like he's whipping through the material too fast. But he *is* receptive to questions, and does take time to go through examples. Not the most entertaining lectures, and difficult midterms, but still worthwhile.
