Dr. Shaul is probably my favorite prof thus far. He is so kind and just wants his students to succeed. There are very clear grading criteria, and the marking scheme is fair. He is very approachable and is always willing to help anyone out. He also does a lot to ensure that the class is an inclusive space for people to participate. Would take again

ok prof...sometimes guidelines and expectations for essays were vague even when asked for clarification...group presentations were fun and enjoyable...but overall shaul comes through in the end.

i'd have to agree with the last rating (1/5/06) he's is a very stingy marker! his lectures can be interesting at times, but if you want the best counselling experience do yourself a favour and take ami rokach...my friends are in his class and they say that he's an absolutely amazing prof.

His lectures are somewhat interesting, although i wish he would just break us into groups so we could actually practice counselling instead of just lecturing all the time. He tends to favour certain students and his marking style is EXTREMELY picky so watch out! Although he's not the worst prof out there, I certainly would NOT recommend him...
