3 Tests which are easy to study for if you take notes. He is a good professor who wants you to do well. Attendance is not vital, but you should show up to his review session the class before the test to get a better understanding of what will be on the exam.

He is super nice and lenient but in a good way. If you have any problems with homework or weren't able to do it on time, he gives you extra time. He understands that you have other stuff and homework to do. He's very chill. I had him for Honors Intro to Sociology and he had his own textbook coming out. His textbook is also easy to understand.

He gives a lot of homework, all easy A's. If you do all of the homework you get extra credit as well, so even if you don't do amazing on tests you will do fine in the class. His lectures weren't super exciting but they were easy to follow so I appreciated that.

Great class, he wants everyone to do good in this course. Tests are basically common sense and the only way you would fail is if you don't have common sense.

For those in the Honors College, this is your best option if you are looking to satisfy your Sociology requirement. No exams, an average of an hour a week dedicated to work outside the classroom, and he gives feedback on the two major assignments that aren't due until the end of finals week. I don't know a student that weren't happy in this class.

Ronald is a good teacher and knows what he is talking about. I would recommend taking him over other professors. The test are not hard, he passes out a study guide for each one, as well as for the final. The HW are so easy you will get a 100 every time. Really is a good professor

TSOC 115. He has a textbook of his own and he didn't publish it yet so it's a little weird to read a book that's sort of a rough draft but all you have to do in this class is read the textbook and answer the review questions. If you can keep up the due dates, you will be fine. He's not strict and his lectures can get really boring.

Comment:
I took this class because I thought it would be a broad overview of sociology, since it is an intro class. However, the readings every week are his own textbook, which hasn't been published yet, and 55 pages each chapter. The book is extremely detailed and irrelevant. Lectures are dry. TA who grades homework is extremely harsh - grades spelling...

GREATEST professor I've had. Extremely easy course mostly based on common sense. Would 10/10 retake a class with this professor. He made it extremely easy to get an A by giving homeworks you cannot get less than a 100 on plus extra credit ones. 4 very straightforward easy tests. Posts lectures online and gives a word for word review for the tests.

Okay so his class lectures can get boring. But the main key to this class is the homework & his review sessions he holds before the test. Literally gives you an outline of every topic on the test & reviews the concepts. There is homework but you're only required to do 10 and the rest are extra credit. And the homewrk is automatic 100% every time

Easy Class. Don't need to buy the physical textbook as long as you have the Ebook. The course content is practically common sense, so no need to worry.

Attendance is not mandatory I barely showed up but still passed. He gives online assignments which are basically impossible to get anything less than 100. He gives study guides and posts his lectures on blackboard. He does give extra credit and his tests are not that hard. The course is mostly common sense

What a treat! As a junior studying accounting in the business school, this was my last gen ed requirement. It was nice that I didn't have to always go to lecture and I could concentrate on my core classes. When I did go to lecture he kept it interesting. Do the learnsmart hw, go to the reviews and use the textbook to study basic definitions. Easy A

He uses prezi and he gives us a review sheet of what is on every test. The tests are so easy and literally take like 30 minutes MAX. You only need the textbook because of the online homework with it. You could probably get skip class a few times and still get an A. Doesn't use iClicker.

Jacobs keeps the lectures to 70 minutes and lets us out early. The tests are fair and he reviews before. All the prezis are put on blackboard if you don't go to class, but the font is tiny so you have to sit in the first couple rows.

Gives pop quizzes based upon the readings on the syllabus, you better read the textbook or online readings to be ready! The class is straight forward, but if you're not ready to be bombarded with names and definitions you'll have a hard time absorbing then take my advice and DO NOT enroll. He did curve the first exam, which was an unexpected bonus.
